major maft issue

ok guys im lost here i recently was givin a safc1 and maft i have the safc installed and everything is fine but now it is time to install the maft here lies my problem...
first the maft is out of a twin turbo 3000gt will this version work in my 1990 tsi
second the cover is missing so the dial labels are not there what is what ive found ways to set it up but the knob labels that are posted do not match the knob labels on the maft mother board
lastly none of the plugs are on the maft only wires the two harnesses are seperated but thats about it does anyone know where i could find where each wire needs to be ran

i have a 3inch gmmaf and 625cc injectors and mods are in my profile if relevent my talon is gonna be parked for awhile while i paint it and do other much needed things to it so if its a long install thats not a prob rule number 1 when you buy a dsm... buy another car thanks guys any help would be greatly appreciated

The signals and wiring is probably different on a 3000gt than on the 1g.

Not sure it will work at all for you.

thats correct the 3000gt maft will only work on 3000gts and 2g dsm, the 1g translator is different from the both
