I'm running both MAFT and DSMLink. GREAT combination of driveability and Power. I set the MAFT to stock 1G settings and use DSMLink for tuning.

Highly reccomended.

likewise. Altho my shitbox hasnt run in weeks. ROFL

Hi Scott,

Was wondering how your project is going, need any help?

I am looking forward to seeing your beasty in action.

MARK: From your first post it seems like you want to make a lot of power, but possibly the wrong turbo to do it. Believe me I thought the e316g was going to be enough for me to...I was mistaken ;) As John recommended here are your next 3 upgrades -- assuming you have fuel support.

1. DSMLink
2. MAF-T
3. Bigger turbo
You cannot go wrong with dsmlink, seriously, when you get it you will be AMAZED with it.

Hey John :)

I sent you a PM as to not clutter up this guys thread. :)

I would go MAFT first to get rid of the craptastic 1G MAS. I was having very bad overrun issues which I didn't know was related to overrun. It was like fuel cut but not as violent. More of a studder at high boost. Anyways you can get a good tune with the MAFT and save up for DSMLink. Or you can just learn how to write code and get a Ostrich and have more than what DSMLink has to offer. I wrote my own TunerPro RT file to be able to change every activation point for Nitrous and W/I, Stutter RPM, Stutter timing retard ect... And the cost is still cheaper than DSMLink. You're looking at maybe $200 for the Ostrich if you already have a socketed ECU. Just requires learng on how to tune your injectors correctly and your TunnerPro AFR will end up being very accurate and make tuning very easy.

Anyways DSMLink is worthwile and I believe they are working on using a GM MAF w/o the MAFT. I was looking into that but didn't have the time to mess with it and got the MAFT. I actually don't really like it as large tempture swings cause your air reading to change rather drasticly. I can't stay in closed loop on very cold nights unless I change my closed loop tables and then when it's hot the car has weak spots as it's staying in closed loop when it needs more fuel for the extra power. I've had to deal with a happy medium for now until I go to speed density with a standalone.
