Hey guys need some help, first time using dsm link and ever tuning a car. I am trying to get my idle dialed in first.

I first started it up and it was good, once it got warmed up my AF ratio went up so i couldn't even read it anymore, it was just lines on my wideband gauge.

I tried adjusting my mafcomp and fuel sliders but they did nothing.

Also, I couldn't even get to mafraw and combinedft, they were both faded and i couldnt even click on them. Anyone know why or how i can get them to connect?

I will attach my log.

Sounds like something is wrong with your MAF. Are you running the stock 2g MAF or do you have a GM MAFT?

Both MAFComp and CombinedFT (MAFTComp Adjust) use the MAF for the values. Either it's not producing the values or it's not connected properly to the ECU (which would make the car run like crap)

Should be everything you need here:

Since the car needs to be in closed loop for this to work, make sure that you're not stuck in open loop operation :).

stock maf, i was previously tuned with a apexi safc, ran fine, just idled lean.

While connected to the ECU can you go into captured values and add them to the right side? Right now they're not being listed as values that were logged.

STEP 3: Data Capture

Add the following log items to your captured values (F10): CombinedFT, MAFRaw and ClosedLoop

Make sure the engine is at full operating temperature. You don't want to mess with coolant based variations at this point. You want to stabilize everything you can first and then adjust based on the one variable left (presumably airflow variation).

Once you're satisfied that the requirements above have been met, you're ready to grab a datalog. Let the car idle for about a minute. Then go drive. Try to keep the car in closed loop mode as much as possible (more on that in the advanced section

No, i already added them as captured values. They are there in my live datalog but i cant do anything with them. All the other values like trottle %, rpms, maf, etc etc i can read. But Mafcomp and combinedft are there but not like "clickable" they arent in a bold black letters, they are grey and i cant click them.
