M/T fluid capacity

what is the fluid capacity of a 1g M/T?

So that would explain why my 2nd gear is making noises now seeing how i thought it was 2 quarts.

Well it won't take all 3 quarts but it does hold more than two.

Ok so about how much will it take? will it just stat overflowing when its full?

Yeah just put it on a level surface and fill it till it starts coming out and put the plug back in. Mine took somewhere around 2.3 quarts I would say.
