2G Lowering Problem

Hi guys,

My car is not lowered, I have 18 inch rims but changing them to XXR 527 18x8.75 +35mm, planning on putting them with 225/40/18 tires. Ordered Megan Racing lowering springs which have a 2" drop.

Something I just noticed is this bolt on top of the the tires/rims I have now without lowering it. Won't this affect me when lowering it?

that's the upper ball joint. this won't touch the tire at all. all you have to worry about is tires rubbing the fender

The other thing to watch out for is the tire rubbing against the knuckle/spindle. My 17x8.5 et36 is about 2mm away. Its darn close. It might be more then 2mm but im judging by my finger. Thats with 245/40 tires. Just keep an eye on that aswell
