I tried to lower my car but i missing something. I was told you loosen the 3rd red ring then turn the black threaded sleeve to the right, but I dont see how you turn it unless I unbolt it from the knuckle and there has to be a different way, Am I suppose to loosen the top ring? i was told not too, and when I did all it did was make the spring move(heard leave cause its factory specs) Thanks

Loosen the jam nut near the strut housing, then you gotta unbolt it from the suspension and turn the body in or out by hand, then rebolt it to the suspension, then tighten the jam nut against the strut housing.

I just tighten the two top nuts together. Turn them toward each other. They will lock together. Then if I want to lower the car, I use the top ring and I turn it to the left. Since the two collars are locked together on the perch, it will rotate the whole perch and thread it down into the lower housing.
