SPC eccentric bushings. I got my set for $60. Jtoby was always a big fan of them and claimed them to be the best we can get as far as price, function and of course eliminating the possibility of the upper a-arm hitting the inside of the fender/body. The Ingalls and adjustable balljoint type kits have that potential of mechanical interference.

I'm not sure what you mean by a whole caster/camber kit.
The Eccentric bushings can manipulate camber by the order of plus or minus 0.75*. This is usually plenty of adjustment to have both equal camber and a suitable amount of negative camber. The bushings replace the 2 bushings that allow the upper control arm to pivot.

Caster is not adjustable for our cars and there are not any products made to give us any adjustment. At least not in the sense of a "kit".

There are, however, the SPC forged aluminum upper control arms that have an adjustable ball joint on a slide that allows for camber AND caster adjustments. But you'll not find that in any other product, nor will they come cheap, weighing in at $450+ for the pair.

I beg to differ. Imagine a the two front tires riding on negative camber. You think that the whole tire is going to wear evenly? I don't think so unless you live in an area where it forces you to turn left and right all the time.

I had 10k on a set of toyo proxes 4 with no camber kit and showed no uneven signs of wear.

I'm telling you, camber kits are unnecessary for good tire wear. Unless somehow dsm's are magically different than all other cars. Get an alignment and you'll be set.

i just got a set of dropzone shocks/struts and coil overs.. lowering my 99 eclipse 2 inches is what im shooting for..

my question after reading all these posts is:


as far as cambers kit go, do i need just a regular camber kit, or a ball joint camber kit?

also, do i need it for both the front and the back? if so, what set up will i need?
