Low Oil Pressure w/ Idle Surge

My car is a '92 and runs decent until it completely warms up, then she'll idle surge from 1100 to 1500 rpm and back down again very frequently. That doesn't worry me so much, my oil pressure drops at a stop light and only goes back up when i'm in fifth and doing about 45mph+? I dont wanna lose my engine, and i dont think its JUST a vacuum line anymore. All assistance will be appreciated.

Check your intake pipe for any unmetered air that might be slipping through. That kind of leak will cause your idle to rise like that. Your car is N/T correct? As far as the oil pressure my 94 GS does the same thing, its normal. Just check your dip stick and make sure your not low on oil.

thanks man, and i am N/T, but i need to look for possible tares or holes in my intake, which just so happens to be stock)?

Yeah, start there check for pinholes, loose clamps, etc. If you don't find any then check your vac lines, see if one has a split or a hole in it. It could be in your intake manifold or throttle body as well. If you want to take it further than a visual inspection, heres a site that has some useful info on it: Engine Vacuum Leaks .
