Loud Squealing????

Just wondering if anyone could help. When I first start my car (2g GST), it squeals very loudly-and I mean loud. The colder it is, the worse it squeals. This sound sometimes goes away in 3 seconds and sometimes it takes like 30 seconds. When the car is warm or the outside temp is warm (like in the summer), it doesn't squeal for long at all. I've tried belt dressing and have even changed out all of the belts but still no love. I've had this squealing now for almost a year. What is going on??? If anybody can help, I'd appreciate it.

i had the same problem, i looked on here some said to tighten your alternator belt. so i tighten it, and since i was there i tighten all the other belts. and the squealing went away.

Dude, I have the exact same problem... I just changed out my belts and it made it worse. It really pisses me off when im around people and i start my car it it squeels as loud and high pitched as it can just to piss me off... I think i may have not tightened the a/c belt enough bcuz it was a bia with only two hands and i didnt have the proper tool... hopefully i get mine fixed before all the spring breakers get here.
