loosing boost and engine pinging need help

i have a evo 3, i had my car down for a few months then changed the clutch. so after bringing the car back out on the road i realised that the boost gauge was going to 14psi but then falling back off boost instead of holding the 14psi. later in the night i noticed the engine started to ping when going up a hill. so parked it back up for a few weeks as i had to travel. when i went to drive it again i noticed no pinging but after 15 mins the car started to ping very very loud and it would even ping when revved from idle. wondering what could be causing this problem. any help and advice would be appreciated thanks

Do a boost leak test. Then come back and tell us what happens.
