Loose Alternator Mount

I didn't find another post so here we go. My 94 Eclipse has had alternator belt breakage problems over the years. Since I had the car up on blocks to change the clutch anyway, I pulled it apart. The alternator when tightened, doesn't sit square to the block. The bolt that goes through the bottom mount wiggles in the bushings. The bolt seems too thin for the job. but it is the original bolt and it doesn't look worn. Has anyone had this problem.
