I just logged my first log and was wondering if any of you have any advice on the readings. I tried to tune it a bit but I guess was a little intimidated so I thought that I would post the log and see what you experts have to say about it. Maybe point me in the right direction.:thumb:
They both were separate runs but they are both posted. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I noticed that my ltft lo and mid are at 12%. They are pretty close to each other but from what I understand from the basic tuning thread on here that those values are supposed to be as close to 0 as possible. Am I correct on that or confused!

Alright now I did move the global settings a little bit but not much but to try and fix the problem but my question now is that since its 12% would I move the global up or down? Thank you for the response and other than that how does the log look.

Decrease global percentage.

Your TPS needs to be calibrated.

You need to lower your intake temps somehow, either via ducting or running the fan continuously.

I can do this by selecting the fans from the mis. section from the ecu drop down menu correct? And I guess while we are on the subject how would I calibrate the TPS. Sorry if these a noob questions on Link but I am starting to get lost clueless!!!!
Would I decrease the global setting by the amount over zero or is there another way to decide how much they need to come down.

Thanks man I am going to go out and see if i can get these ltft numbers right. Then I will go to see if I can maybe get a better understanding of some of the options in Link. Wish I had a wireless network card to take out on the road with me to update my process on here. Thanks again for the replies.

What intake temps should I be shooting for? I do have a fmic but I am still running the t25 with 15 psi of boost which might be why my intake temps are a little high.

Intake temps are measured as the MAS. Ideally you want it to be as close to ambient as possible.

wow i am way off the mark then. I have a ssac fmic might be the reason why but that has yet to be determined as I havent really pushed it all that hard plus with the 50 trim in the living room still so it has yet to be pushed all that hard. Well thank you for the replies going back out to do some more tuning.

well i did turn on the fans options and it took my intake temps way down. My ltft lo and mid are still 12.5% and when I go down on the global settings it messes with the idle and changes my airflowperrev value. I am confused.

Are you decreasing the percentage? As in from -50% --> -45% and such?

Wrong way. Positive fuel trims means that the ECU is trying to add fuel. Thus, you need to lower the amount of fuel you pull with your global slider in order to add fuel.

well unfortunatly i went the other way with the global the other way and still nothing. Just messed up the idle. Is there any other way to make the ltft lo and mid zero out?

Log "OpenLoop", ISCPosition, IdleSw, LearnedIdleAdj and Throttle Position at idle after the car is warmed up, and give it a rev or two.

now this might be a stupid question but do you have to shut the car off so that the changes are made to the ecu or is it instantaneous?

Alright I will do that this weekend and I will post my log. I have to use my sis labtop so keep in touch and any advice you can give me will be helpful. Thanks for the help so far too. I think that I am starting to get a little better understanding on what is going on in the ecu. Thanks.

It's instantaneous. Once you change something in the program and click Send to ECU (or whatever it says), it's changed.

Thanks now I know. Sorry if that was a dumb question but hey you learn something new everyday.
