I had that problem once i just took the bullet and threw a rock through my window went to a junk yard and got a new drivers door window for $50.

A A A?

They have those thin bars that slide into your window. My lock on the passenger side didnt work either and he was able to unlock it using that metal piece.

As do cops :sneaky: . Now I'm not implying using 911 to pop yours doors open but if you see one wave him down.

Man your in luck, the 1gs are easy to get in. I looked my keys in the car a couple of times
1st Remove the window trim
2nd get a stick or hanger
3rd Look down at the look and you will see a T looking piece(connects to the door handle. Use the stick and press down!!

WTF I wouldn't break my window. Just call up a locksmith to open it for you.

I'd like to say that stiff wire fed through the seal around the door with a hook on the end to catch the hatch latch would work wonders.

yea ive just used a coat hanger to slip thru the weather seal and using the hook on the coat hanger i grab the door handle and pull.

Yea, thats another way to do it. Get a slim jim, a coat hanger, or some other wire hook to pick the lock with. Gently feed the hook down the door seal and carefully move it around until you feel it catch the door latch. Pull up on your wire hook to unlock your car.

The good news is if you do it this way, you save the money of having a locksmith open your car. :thumb:

The badnews is if you do it wrong, you can break the lock on your door. :notgood:

yeah, If your using the spare key sometimes you have to put it in all the way and then pull it out one click for it to work. Also My key doesn't work for the passenger side of my car but since i never go through the passenger side I don't worry about it
