Now this may be a stupid question but a couple of days ago I wrecked my car no engine damage but now my head gasket seems to be leaking pretty badly. I drained the oil
(mostly water) out the day after the wreck and I refilled the oil and now when I check it I don't see any oil on the dipstick just water. The oil doesn't leak and I don't drive or even start it for that matter I just have it up on ramps. Please help really want to get my baby back on the road. 420A N/T RS :(

sounds like head gasket to me. are you sure you had no engine damage. Might of cracked your head or something

I am having the same problem myself with oil dissapearing and no stain on the ground, now if I do the job myself how hard would it be to put back in timing or would it be just fine is the only thing holding me back, thanks. OMG

well you gotta make sure the cam gears dont move when you take the head off. But if you havent had any experience with doing that then i dont recommend you doing it. You dont wanna start your car up and smash some pistons into valves.
