hey guys,

I bought a leakdown tester to check my head for bent valves. We hooked everything up like the instructions said... pressurized the system like it said. I heard no air leakage anywhere. I was like huh, maybe this one is tight.. so we tried number 2 which was at BDC, should be leakage. Did that and didn't hear any leakage, should be leaking is at BDC right? Well anyways I took the tester out then pressurized it to make sure air was getting into the cylinder. So we pressurized it and no air was coming out. Take in mind the system pressurized on the gauges and the adapter hose released pressure when I disconnected it from the system. On the adapter that screws into the spark plug hole there is a valve, and on the adapter pieces that came with it, there are no valves just hollow. Do I need to remove this valve or should something allow it to open?

The leakdown tester looks like this http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=359767

the hose that screws into the spark plug hole has a small valve on the bottom that unscrews take that out so air can get in the cylinder
