Knocking noise at 2500-3k only?

I have spun rod bearings before and this doesnt sound like that. I get a audible knocking noise around 2500-3000 rpms only. It goes away after and isnt present before. No power loss, wierd. Could this be cam related? Havent had time to pull it apart yet so Im just gathering ideas.

check your crank pulley...the adhesive might have come undone and it's hitting on your frame rail, i thought i threw a rod but it was just the pulley
