Get the S2000 and call it a day... DSM's are getting outdated. Don't spend your money there. There isn't a point in having to put another $4-5K into a car that you aren't enjoying.. Not like is a Ferrari. Life is short.. Believe me..

Okay well then just for shits and giggles. If was to sell the car how its sits right now guys, what would be some offers?

and be fair you have seen the pics. :)

you say that like you regret your DSM.

Just throwing in my 2 cents. My first DSM I got when I was 17. I sold it when I turned 19. I had alot of time and money into her. After I sold her, I moved on to many other projects including two Audi's, 1 honda, 1 Acura, and 2 BMW's. Although all 6 cars were fun and good in their own right, I could not make the connection with them like I had with my eclipse. About 8 months ago I found my Talon awd. Bone stock with 63k. She needed some help from neglect but she wasn't trashed. Since then I've sold the other two projects that I had. My 318ti and my EG6. Aside from my daily drivers, my talon is the only project I have going. I'm not trying to take away from the s2k as it is an excellent platform and one of the most fun cars I have ever driven. I'm just saying don't give up on your DSM before you finish it. The s2k is in a different category. If I were you, I would finish the gsx (that is hella clean and you probably have a hard time finding another in that shape) and when all is said and done, pick up the s2k. They are two different beasts and two totally different building and driving experiences. It would be nice to have both if you could. I would just finish what was started. I would bet if you had both that they would both get their fair share of use. Either way, go with what you feel. Good luck.

I work at an Infiniti dealer and have personally driven a TT G37. The guy has about 15K on the motor and the turbo kit cost him about 10K. Very expensive to get done but the car had a powerband like no other. When the boost was building it was not violent or one big surge. It was a very smooth power increase up to max boost. It was also putting about 550hp to the wheels. The car overall was fantastic, but very expensive. Although the DSM's are great for project cars if you have the time to put into them, they can really be frustrating and make you want to get into something else that may be more expensive but the parts and build quality don't cause you to pull your hair out. Just my .02, but I also have a Honda Accord, 92 AWD Laser, 95 F150, and 07 CBR600RR. Plenty of projects to go around and spend my money on.

What are you looking to do with the cars? If you are looking for handling and maybe some track time; S2K. If you are looking for something to make power and look nice; 2g DSM.

I can make power with the DSM all day, but were kinda of limited on the tracking/ suspension parts without a good deal of money poured into are setup. limited tire size options, semi heavy, hard to find parts, quality still decent. Dying aftermarket community.

Now i can make 450hp all day with a S2k, have a ton of tire setup options, and a sweet chassis setup from the factory. and power to weight ratio is just retarded good. parts more expensive yes but quality is great, rear end weak, tranny good for 420 hp. still decent aftermarket support

i'm not bashing i love the eclipse, I am just pointing out pros and cons.

I too at one point wanted an s2k for a change but insurance was going to kill me at my age (21).
It's really up to you, the gsx is no doubt very clean, but as mentioned above, honda quality is honda quality...
If i had the chance to get an s2k i would deff not pass up.
