Just the Nitrous Purge?

I had a Nitrous system in my dodge neon it was a NOS wet with a 35 shot. Now i sold it and got a Eclipse Rs and i am fixing it up just for show. I am going to get a NOS Purge Valve and nitrous bottle, and all i want to do it run the purge and not hook it up to the engine. I went to Jegs and they said all i need is the bottle the Purge kit and some line to connect them together, does that sound right? or do i need another part to connect to the purger so the nitrous wont go through? thanks -Dan

well, you'll want to buy just a nitrous bottle and a purge kit. you'll be missing the "main" live to deliver the nitrous from the bottle to the purge kit, so you'll have to buy one (usually -4an). then you just run the bottle into the purge solenoid, and wire up the solenoid, and bam. if know enough, you can just buy a bottle and solenoid, and then all you need is the main line and a brake line to act as your purge "valve". it'll save you a little bit, but only if i know how to do it.
