Ok so this is my first DSM. I have a 98 Talon Esi (N/T) FWD. I understand that the 420a is not the most capable motor without putting a ton of money into it. That being said I am looking to get at least some power increase out of this motor. I am gonna be getting wiseco High Compression Pistons and Eagle Rods within the next week. (And Yes I have done all regular maintenance already and have 1 step colder plugs) Now after getting these parts I am looking to do at least a 75 wet shot. My question to you guys is what else as far as engine internals to recommend to run nitrous very safely and second is does this motor need to be tuned after putting in the new pistons/rods?

That still doesn't answer my question about if the engine needs to be tuned after doing internals?
