Got her back last night and it is great. Not only does it look cool but the bar actually helps with the handling of the car. It meets all SCCA regulations and is great to have for roll over safety. I had it fully customized and welded in for $645. Got it installed by Competition Cages in Hillsborough NC (919) 644-1334.

It looks good, I'm actually looking for a cage for my car. I already stripped the interior, I just need to find a place that has one. Dsmparts.com has one but they're out of stock.

Have you looked at having JM do it?

I see you ARE in PA...

I'd like to get a chromoly one done, but, i'm a bit farther than you. but, they only do the install, not sell outright, I guess.

heres a dsm parts roll cage for not even 300 shipped. im sure you can get it install ed really cheap to

Sould I take out the back seats or leave them in. Which would look better. Not have seats and the roll bar might look "cool"?

I think you should definately take out the back seats. It would give you the more racer look and the cage would look even better. Also it doesnt look like your back seats are serving a real purpose except maybe some where to throw something. No one would be able to sit there or even get back there. Thats my .02. :thumb:

Okay, with my 2 cents i have to say that overall looks wise it makes more sense to take the seats out. But when you do that you also have to take out all the rear interior panels too. And all i can say is that i hope you have a GOOD stereo system. All of the road noise might get to you if you don't. What i did was i took all the paneling out of my hatch and completly stripped it down. Kept the rear seats and the paneling around the speakers and the windows. if i didn't have a system i would have to put it all back in because Damn! (i have a complete JL system with a lot of bass) But it might not be so loud if i didn't have an exhaust system to go with it too. So all i can say is try the hatch first. Than go from there.
