I did some research on here but could really find an answer so I am asking it. When I am driving and trying to put it into third gear(5 speed stick) it doesnt go in first try... i have to go back to neutral then it will go in. Sometimes though it will just go right in.. The research I came across said that it could be bushings or rods.. any advice? its a new stage 3 clutch in it so i know its not the actual clutch.
also while in gear the shifter is very loose, like i can move it side to side while in gear. It doesnt grind or pop out of gear but i know thats not right. I found that to be a shift lever boot? Any advice where I can find this or the part that will fix it?
Last but not least. While i am driving, after it gets to about 4300 rpms the boost like cuts out or something and it makes the car like backfire kind of. it jerks the car real bad. I have noticed the gasket between the manifold and the downpipe is broken.. could that cause it? I did some searching and found that maybe its over boosting? I can drive it to about 3500-4000 rpms and its fine.. the BOV still lets out and everything. i just did a head gasket set and timing belt set as well as new valves. Any help?
Thanks!
