.. from ebay (the real thing, not a copy)

Hope I did the right thing...

I plan to install it myself in my apartment's parking lot. Is it a straight bolt on? ..or should I have it "professionally" installed?

You should do it yourself, its easy enough. Unbolt the stock exhaust from the cat, unbolt the hangers, pull out the old exhaust. Bolt the new N1 up you'll be good to go. Soak those bolts that are connected to the cat in PB Blaster or WD-40 for a while as they tend to be a bi*** to get off. It also helps to have second person. Good luck.

It's a bi*** to get the exhaust out from the Axle back, so be prepared to spend a little extra time trying to wing it out.

2 bolts(17mm i believe), drop the rear subframe down just a hair, makes it friggen childsplay.

oh and dont try to route the exhaust the same way the stock ones routed between the floorpan and the subframe, the 3" exhaust will not fit. route it under.

When I took off my stock exhaust I just took it out in two pieces. It's a complete b*tch to unbolt the cat from the DP/catback. It's easy enough to do on your own.

I just installed the N1 exhaust and DP in my apartment parking lot over the past couple of days. Installing the new exhaust was no problem at all, this is a really well-made system. The part that was a nightmare was removing the old exhaust. Aside from removing the rusted bolts, I had to hacksaw it apart in two places to get it out from where it went over the rear axle (there was a 2.5" catback from a previous owner that appeared to have just been welded together after it was put together).

Uh, my 3" Buschur fits into the stock location.

Good for you and David Buschur. Since he bought a 3 inch Apexi N1 the instructions we give him will pertain to that particular exhaust.

So yeah....it routes under the axle not over it.

Do yourself a favor and buy a can of PB Blaster. Spray down all your bolts, tap them with a screwdriver, and then spray them down again. The two bolts connecting to your cat are going to suck big donkey balls. I got every bolt off expect those two, and ended up stripping one. I brought it to my local mechanic and he installed my exhaust for 30 bucks.

Thanks for the tips. I'll get some of that PB Blaster stuff. My email says the package is in the mail already, just ordered it last night. I highly recommend this ebay seller, "importblowoutsales".
