Here is a video of the 8.43. Notice the bad launch and then it takes off like a rocket. I have never had it pull so hard. We are getting closer but those first few feet will easily hurt you at least a tenth.

We are going to be trying a new system for getting the antilag to come off but probably not until the shootout.

looks like its time to change your 1/4 time and trap speed! good work.

That's amazing 8.43 in an AWD is nuts. I'm still yet to understand how Lummas and Gardella pull off 7.8's and 7.9's with FWD cars. Even with the rule change they are running 8.1's. Pro 4 cylinder is an amazing class.

if he did switch to an auto im assuming he wouldnt use the stock dsm atx... most drag transmissions have only 2 or 3 gears, just look at the only viper running 8's... a 2001 gts full weight with a 2 speed auto, tuned by hennessey performance of corse, its a venom 1000 fyi

edit: forgot to mention.... congrads on the 8.43, although your lanuch might have been bad (in your own words, it was still probably better than anything i will ever pull off) the shift into second made my friends finally respect dsms (along with the whole 176.9 mph trap and 8.55 run too) just for the power your putting down..
