Hey guys, i wanna know what kind of jl systems u guys are running and what kind of amps ur using to power it. im in the process of choosing a 10in W7 or a 10inW6V2. if anyone of you guys have these subs or have had them at 1 point please tell me how it was.

Save your self 400 dollars and buy an Image Dynamic IDMAXX. It hits as hard if not harder than a w7 and is half the price...Jl is overpriced...decent quality but over priced. I do own the Jl monoblock 500/1 amp...but i pretty much got an amazing deal on it...ohh and look into US amps...Zapco...Tru...or soundstream.

If you have moeny to piss away...go for a w7...but my suggestion woudl be an IDMAXX...it hits cleaner and harder than a w7 IMO.

I would go with the w7 not only does it hit hard but it is a very clean sub. No distortion whatsoever. But I you are going to get it make sure it is mounted in the box made by jl. The square one with the oval port in front. Mounting the speakers in any other box will be a waste of your hard earned money.
