I just recieved my JDM tranny, it looks awesome too. I was looking at it and verything is fine and well. I did notice on the far side of the tranny( the side that will be facing the passenger side, there is a little gold lever. There is a sticker uner it that looks like this 2WD<->4WD. What is this? Is it for towing purposes to free the rear up or what.

Let me know,
Anthony

It's a switchable tranny, you can run fwd only by removing a bolt or somethng and moving the lever. I will try to find some more info on it. Would be nice for taking your car to the dyno and whatnot.

Yes the JDM tranny is known as the "JDM Switchable Tranny", but thats all I can tell you as thats all I know.

Thanks guys. I feel stupid, cause I did search for this, but I didn't search "switchable" tranny.

thanks guys,
Anthony
