Hey fellas,
Been outta the loop for awhile dealing with life, but am trying to creep out slow... tuff times. Anyway... I came across a jdm 6bolt, and I'm wanting to put it in my 96 eclipse. I don't know to much about the whole conversion deal, and searched vfaq, but didn't find what I was looking for, I know the step by step is in there, I've come across it several times a couple of years ago. I don't know all the details to the conversion, but I need this to go smooth, and done right. So here is what I'm getting at. I don't have alot of cash to hand out to a shop, and know that there are people out there that do the jobs on the side... been in the auto industry most of my life, and do work on cars myself. I'm willing to help out alot, so that i can learn. My daughter turns legal to drive this month, and wants, as promised if she did good in school), the eclipse, or as she refers to it, " Her G-ride". Now its time to hand over the keys, but the engine has been blown for about 2 years, and now I have to get it ready for her, thing is, I can drop a 7 bolt in blind folded, but I got this real nice jdm six bolt because of the rumors of how much better a 6 bolt is.. and the whole crankwalk thing... basically its better to go six bolt, and this one is abouts 50,000 miles. If anyone wants to do the job, or share the info, or even trade me a 7 bolt for this 6 bolt, but the 7 bolt ofcourse has to be just in great of shape as this one. Meaning low miles, block/head, etc... the usual routine, pm me, My time is limited. Thanks guys in advance, I just want my daughter to have a good engine in her car... she's done Honor role since the 6th grade(which is when I first got eclipse), and has dreamed to own it... till this day she keeps getting honors grades, and wanted to hand the keys over with a good running car... She's a good kid aside that, and very responsible, so I don't have a problem handing this beauty over to her... also she knows how to do her own tune ups, brakes, fluid top offs, and other the basics, she calls it basic training... funny eh? She really makes me happy being curious and wanting to learn about her car... alright guys... thanks for listening.

(If you want some credentials just go to abq-dsm.com and look me up, I just moved here last week.)
!!! Maybe if I show her how to ride my Gixxer, and trade her out for the car during INO time, she'll let it go...
