No no no not of course, this is a fluke. It's been the longest running meet ever!

It is awefully quiet in here. Hey this doesn't stop the meet, this is still going on, regardless of what you're guy's opinion. This is a tradition and if you can't make it you don't have to it is totally fine. We are still meeting up at the Delaware Shell gas station in San Mateo, the schedule is still confirmed. We'll still have fun and go according to plan as of you can't go you'll miss out the once a year fun and drive and take your dsm out to the twisties, if you're not ready that's fine better luck next time. Let's have some fun and see you all there.:thumb:

1. Javi - plates and silverware
2. Mahesh - chips/guac... maybe some fried rice <----EDWINS JOB MAHESH
3. Brian - Surprise Desert (pending weather forcasts, hot or cold, very american either way)
4. Eben - big bag of Charcoal
5. Patrick - Drink's (soda,water, other)
6. Corey- Burgers and Hamburger buns
7. Mike - Hotdogs and buns and condements

Still open for condements and cups for drinks.

Yeah in a serious note though, this meet is pretty fun. It was my first one last year and I had lots of fun. You get to cruise with other dsm's and drive down the beach. It is pretty coool! Plus you get to meet a lot of cool people as well.

I say even it its only 5-6 of you guys, still go. Keep the tradition alive. Next year will be a big year, lots of cars are down for big upgrades right now.

I'm still down. Last year was my first year out.

I may bring both the 98 TSi AWD (wifes) and the Evo (mine). Any caravan from the East Bay (Walnut Creek)?

I also posted this on norcalevo since I hang out with those guys now.

so anyone want to caravan from walnut creek/oakland area? Me and the wife will be coming with our Talon and Evo most likely.

This is a final count, and I need to know if we are still on this weekend? Well what can I do. I just organized and seem like the DSM spirit are now down. Who knows or maybe just a bad timing? Anyway Majority wins. If we have to cancell this one and better luck next time. At least thank me for trying to organize this meet. Anyway we'll see tomorrow night at the deadline. Hey Eben the car is great it's better than ever and I think my MPG is better, I can now get 28 mpg highway and 23 mpg City driving because of my setup cool and it's noticeable. Thanks hopefully we can get a decent meet or maybe a Mt. Hamilton run this August. Talk to u later.

I think it is bad timing. Everyone's car seem to be down. And people don't want to spend money. Ill be down for the mt halm

there's never a good time for a bay area dsm meet to include everyone. There's always a good time to have a meet though. It could just be a few cars that go, but it'll still be fun to mingle with an all DSM crowd.

Hey Mike, it sucks that no one can come out. I talked to a lot of the OG guys, and everyone's just really in the middle of modding the summer. This is the first one I will miss, which sucks. By the end of summer, I'm going to try to organize a track event. I know a few of my friends, some of the FFTEC cars, will all want to go out and run, as most of our setups will be done by then. I'll hopefully debut the new setup soon.

And for Mt. Hamilton...I think more and more of us are starting to make more power that renders our cars useless in the twisties...hahaa. But I'd be down to roll with someone.

I really really hope you guys make this happen. It's the longest bay area dsm tradition, the only one we have. DO IT!

I just heard on the news couple minutes ago that they found a dead body in Stinson beach.:barf:

Oh that's just perfect... Combine that with the fact that the 12th & 13th is also Avon's Breast Cancer Walk that's going on in SF, this is even making me think of reconsidering :notgood:

...although....... day #3 of having a 'Saturn-Powered' DSM and so far, so good :thumb: It would be nice to stretch the Talon's wings again on a road trip. I guess getting stuck in major event/downtown SF traffic would be a good test for the new alternator.

What the hell, lets go SOUTH on HWY 1 and end up in Margaritaville instead :sneaky:

Who's down?

Who's jimmy buffet LOL
I love that sea food resturant in santa cruz. The one that you have to pay the toll booth to get in. I love their crab sandwich

Go guys! GO! I feel hella bad that I'm not going. But it's the first step in bringing the white car up from the ashes... so it's OK.

if its for the greater good mahesh, then its alright.

Like me, i have my apprenticeship test tomorrow morning for my engineering career, obviously for the greater good, so its a viable excuse.
