ISC for a 1.8?

My brother owns a 93 eclipse 1.8 and his ISC is going out. Can he use the ISC that DSMparts.com sells? or does he have to have one that is just for the 1.8.

Pretty sure they are all the same. When I was looking to replace mine I remember reading somewhere that the ISC's on the NA engine was the same ( not sure if this only ment the 2.0L or included both NA engines ). One thing you can do is take the one off your DSM and compare it to your bro's (or just try installing it, not hard). Also, it's a lot cheaper to just get an ISC at a junk yard rather then buying a new one, just test it out first when you are there to see if it's still good. I got mine off of dsmtrader.com for $30.
