i just picked up a 90 gst, excellent condition, very well maintained..many new parts..anyways here the problem..the cars pulls hard, i was surprised in 2nd at about 2500 it will light up the tires at WOT,but it seem like there is no power after 4-4500k...it takes forever to hit 5-6k...and i also noticed that the oil dipstick pops out a little bit..could this be the PCV valve?i have been searching for a couple hours now,but nothing really to what i get.thanks for the help

sounds a lot like when my boost gauge line popped off, except i lost power throughout the rpm range. it'd wind up decently till around 4k-4500 then just crawl the rest of the way up. scared the crap out of me the first couple times it happened.

Do a compression check it seems like a bad head gasket. Checking out your ignition timing wouldn't be a bad idea either.

there is a new head on the car, replaced 18k ago,but i will check the compression...could this be a symptom of the wastegate accuator not opening?just a thought.i had a 300zx turbo, and something like this happened if there was too much boost,it woulndt pull any more..

Yes those could be possible problems. How much boost are you running?
