is the stock muffler on the 2g turbo good flowing

sorry to bring this back from the dead, but if I use the stock muffler with a 3" electric cutout would I be creating crazy amounts of back pressure on the highway or around town running on the stocker. Would this be bad? Obvioulsy if Im going to race or need more then 15psi I will open the cut out...

I kinda wonder if anyone has figured out how to steal the muffler off of the evos.. They seem pretty free flowing... Just the muffler people, not the whole exhaust...
