Is it worth buying an intake for a 2g?

Right now i am trying to decide if its worth buying an intake. I have noticed the new aem v2 adds 16+ hp. But im not convinced, if someone has this intake or any other intake please let me know

when i had mine installed it almost felt like i had an intake under the hood

btw: yes you will feel a difference if you get a filter\intake to replace the stock parts

is it worth switching from the stock airbox to a hardpipe/open filter... yes..

but the question is, are you going to spend 200+ on this AEM V2 type r fo' shiz intake system, or are you going to go to eBay, home depot, and/or a vendor and spend < 100?

It's definitely worth getting a hard pipe filter, but as everyone else said it is not worth getting an uber-expensive name brand one.
