My interior lights, door open light and door chime only work when the let is in accessory position, or start. Also, the radio defaults back to demo mode every time I turn the car on. The original wiring is unmolested, except for the factory radio harness being clipped. I checked all fuses. Is there a possibility that the ecu is resetting every time I turn the car on? I can't pass emissions because my o2 sensors, evap, egr, etc. Aren't ready, even though I've driven over 100 miles since I last disconnected the battery.

On my '91 I put a data logger to it and my ecu was resetting every time i shut the car off, no codes ever. A year or so later ecu crapped out. I did not have any of these issues anytime at all, but I would imagine it depends where the failure is?. Kind of sounds like a wiring issue. I would log of some sort to rule out ecu. And check wiring/grounds, any splices in that radio circuit. Are you pulling any codes? Kind of sounds like the circuit was wired to acc, no constant power
