So i got my rebuilt motor back in and everything runs fine and sounds good. The window was down for a long time so the car could be moved around the shop. Well when everything gets hooked back up, the window wont come up and neither of them work. Ok thats not too bad we can track it down. But all of the sudden yesterday the radio doesnt come on anymore, power seatbelts, blower for the heater... all stop working too. Wierd thing is, the cigarette lighter and all the gauges and the headlights and safc all work fine. I've checked fuses and relays and checked for loose wires but this is so out of the ordinary I don't know what to look for. Give me any ideas at to what it could be, i just want my car back...

I know you said you checked all the fuses, but I would double check that 80A (black) Alternator fusible under the hood. It's located in the main fuse box on the passenger side. When mine blew, I lost power to everything you've described. Replaced that fuse and everything worked.

That fuse will blow like clockwork if anything arcs off of one of the battery terminals. Mine blew when I dropped a wrench on the battery and grounded out the terminals.

Good luck!

alternator fuse could be it... there have been tools all over the engine bay and it just happened out of nowhere! i'll try that and let you know. :thumb:
