i didn't say they were a performance part. what i said is is that he wants the bumper just for looks. He would prefer to drive his dsm, but have the look of the integra.

Well there is always the smarter idea, buy an Integra and keep the DSM as well. Probably would save a lot of headaches.

This post reminds me of another headache I hate to hear: Can I transplant a 4G63 into my RS/GS?

IMO: :notgood: for trying to mess with one of the sexiest cars on the streets!

I also think the integra bumper is really plain. And it will not flow with the curvy sexiness of our cars. Maybe you should do the lancer/evo style front kit with projectors? Shouldn't cost too much more and will definently look better.

this is all just a thought right now, probably never going to happen

why are so many of you getting your panties all bunched up on this is the hardest project in the world and its going to ruin my car. I am still going to have the eclipse bumper sitting there and if I dont like or if I mess up, its a few bolts away from getting back how it started.

I am worried about the price because I won a local sound competition and won a free 15" no-name sub. traded the sub for a case of bondos and a case of fiberglass resin. The only other project I can think of that would take this much modeling is just remodeling the whole car altogether.

You can't just swap out these easily. It's not a "bolt on" type thing. It takes FABRICATION to do something like this. The reason we are "getting our panties all bunched up" is because we know it is a bad idea. We don't need to do it to know that.

it would take so much work to even get it to match up, and even then itll still look like a monkey ####ing a coconut.

youd need to extend fenders and hood with sheetmetal, which means lots of fabrication, bending, and body work. then somehow mount the honduh front end onto the car, more fabrication. then make everything match up. add lots of bondo, and paint.

the integra(or any other honduh) front does NOT flow with the curves of any car other than the one it came off of. plus even thinking of a honduh front end on a dsm is pure blasphemy to most dsmers(and honduh kiddies as well). thatd be like a LS1 camaro with a ford 4.6L swap, it just aint right. or a rx7 with a ls1(stop killing perfectly good rx7's you fukking hicks, if you want a ls1, get a slomaro).
