Does anyone know if you put an aftermarket intake on a stock n/t talon motor if you have to plug holes or hook anything up to the mas? For some reason since I've gotten my intake and redid my waterpump and timing (had to do the timing twice so I'm pretty sure it's dead on) my car woke idle quite right. The check engine light comes on but the car isn't overheating or doing anything that it isn't suppose to. It drives fine and accelerates good, but the engine light comes on after a few seconds and doesn't go off. Any suggestions?

Agreed on the keydance, or at least go to autozone and have em use the code reader if your really lazy.

An intake should be straight forward install. Attach intake to Throttle body, attach filter to intake pipe. Run a hose from the breather at the top of valve cover to intake pipe/ OR/ Attach a breather to brether pipe at top of manifold, and cap off whole where the hose would have gone.

straight forward, I think you did something to your car elseware.

He's a 95 and I know we have the hook-up for the scan tool, but the autozone out here will NOT read my Fing codes when I throw one because "OBD2 is only 96+"...####ers..Hopefully the autozone by him is nicer.

just do the keydance...some people don't have autozone ya know :notgood:

you guys are not very funny I hope you know...if the military sent you up to north pole alaska, you would be the one crying that you don't have an autozone

thus...the keydance is my friend

I'm not clowning your being stationed in the great white north. I'm just clowning in general. I would almost always suggest the keydance over Autozone anyways. Not like most issues which result in a CEL are something unique. Given a keydance code, I can usually figure it out.
