Installing Lifters Help (where ti position oil hole)

well its simple. i noticed when pulling out my old lifters that the oil holes were positioned away from the oil passage on the head. some where not. what is the correct position? or does it matter?
for now i positioned the oil hole facing the oil passage.. i would assume that it would get higher pressure if was 90 degrees away from the passage..

awesome thanks, thats what i conlcluded as they were all misplaced. it was obvious that they were moving around in there. i just needed to hear from the experienced
