Im in the process of installing my amplifier but before i drill through the firewall( which i really dont want to do but.....) i was wondering if anyone knew of a hole in the fire wall already. Now I did search for this but all i found was a hole behind the battery on gst and gsx, but since the engines are different it didnt apply to me. So any help would be appreciated!

Nope i could not find one either...... I few people said to run it through your fender....... i drilled a hole in my fire wall right behind the speaker for my alarm and if u dont know where that is its behind the drivers sider strut tower..... good luck man and make sure you set off plenty car alarms LOL :thumb:

i ran mine through the passenger side wiring harness boot. if you take off the battery pan, youll notice a big wad of wires that go through a big rubber grommet through the firewall on the pass. side. i would imagine the n/t would have it too, unless its jsut a gst thing. but i just poked a hole in it with a screwdriver and bam. beats drilling a sharp ass hole that could possibley cut the wire and ground it out in a blaze of glory.

I think there's one rubber thingy where the passenger , abobe the pedals , not shure , if not my friend ran it behind his fender

Same here, works out pretty nice, little hard to get it through at first, but patience is a virtue (will need a coothanger or something like that for assistance in engine bay to retrieve the wire from the boot)

i ran mine through the steering column grommet. there was like a 1 1/2 inch space of rubber that was no where near the steering column to interfere with so i ran it right through there. no problem :)

Alright cool so if I remove the battery there should be wires going into the firewall around there. Im gonna try it tomarrow. Thanks everyone

if your by the headlights, stick a flat head to the left of the wiring thru the rubber, then go underneath the dash pass side, pull up the carpet, and try to find it. make the hole bigger and whamo,

thanks guys for the help. I got it in today. I ended up finding a spot right underneath the glove compartment and i just fished it through there. So now my system is poundin. No settin of car alrams but it'll do.
