Injen short ram+ cold air extension?

I am planning on buying a cold air intake soon, but i live where it rains quite a bit and was wondering if anyone out there has a injen short ram plus the cold air extension. Does it still have the same performance as the one peice? anything you could tell me would be great. thanks

I have this and there was a significant different between the short ram and the cai attached. I ran the short ram for about a year before getting the cai extension.

There should be no different between having two pieces and the single piece.. there's no bypass valve robbing power like on the AEM's, and the two sections basically touch each other before the rubber coupling is attached and strapped down.

Just fyi, i had to loosen the bolt on my horn and turn it 180 degrees for the cai part to bolt down properly, but other than that, it's cake.
