One word.... VFAQ :thumb:

It is going to be a long reading, but a valuable information; if you want to know about injectors.

Choosing the correct fuel injector
First you have to know your engines "efficiency number" known as BSFC.
Here is some target BSFC numbers.
Professional racing engine 0.40
High compression engine 0.50
Low compression engine 0.60
Turbo/Super charged engine 0.65
If you know your engines Hp use this formula to determine your injector size

Injector Size= (Engine Hp x BSFC) / (# of cylinders x 0.8)

To convert from lbs/hr to metric cc/min use this formula

lbs/hr x 10,5 = cc/min

High impedance resistance injectors (12 - 16 ohms) for cooler operation and longer life is a less costly replacement for performance and stock injectors. The slower response time decreases the operating range of this injector type.
Low impedance resistance injectors (2 - 5 ohms) are faster reacting and primarily used for aftermarket high performance and racing competition systems.

Off topic: What injector size, Fuel pump and FPR are you going to use with the turbo kit?

Or you could look up RRE they have a chart all you need to know is what kind of gas you want to use on top of your estimated HP.....

Hey thanks guys those sites helped a lot i understand it all now :thumb:

Okay now that i have learned how they work, can i just get a Apexi AFC and use that to tune my fuel when i go turbo. Can i just tune it so the injectors stay open longer or do i really need new more powerful ones
