Need to check my injectors. The car has an open exhaust and when i start the car it will burn fuel like crazy and eventually kill the motor from being so rich. I checked under the car and i could see fuel coming out of my exhaust and puddling onto the ground.

Thought i could remove the fuel rail and put individual cups under the injectors and have my friend crank the motor with the coil ignition disabled to see if all 4 injectors were pushing out fuel evenly or if one was stuck open. But that failed miserably and you cant hold 40 psi of fuel with your fingers.

Is there a way i can connect the injectors to some gas and see if it pushes the fuel out right or would checking the resistance be the best way?

anyone?

I was looking at the top portion of the injectors i have and none of them have filters on the top opening. But almost every other filter i've ever looked at have filters in them but for some reason these do not. Has anyone seen some without the filters?
