so i was looking on ebay for injectors and all i found for the 420a eclipse was 36 lbs.(375cc) can i use neon injectors or am i searching wrong? what specific 440cc injectors would i need with my setup?

You want some 440cc injectors from RC enginering, try RCeng.com for more information but they are probably over priced.

just search ebay for rc injectors :thumb:

i searched and found dsm injectors but they say 4g63. do the 4g63 and 420a except the same style injector?

This is where I get confused too...I was told that when you buy injectors the 4g63 injectors don't fit the 420a style.

However I always here about people using the stock 450cc injectors from the 4g63 motor?

Is the difference the O rings around the plugs or what.

I'm pretty sure that our 420a injectors need to be High impedience.

ok as far as rc injectors go they told me that the SL4 (440)ect... were the injectors to use. these are also the same injectors they use for the srt4 neon. so i assume the aftermarket neon injectors work aswell.

You are completely wrong. The 4g63 motors have a completely different ECU with different programming than the 420a motor. Hell, even different years of the 420a have different ECUs and Im sure the 4g63 is the same way.

I dont see what that has to do with what I said... I simply said that the stock ecu cant handle larger than 440cc injectors. I realize u cant put a 4g63 ecu into a 420a. Thats why i said you would most likely need a stand alone or piggy backed management system.

440cc injectors are close to the stock Mistsu's 450cc injectors. Which the ecu is programmed for. Larger injectors can't be toned low enough and accurately enough without an emanage or another stand alone. So yes it'll be flooded. May be possible to do this using a flashed/ eprommed ecu or stand alone but i dont know about just using a FPR unless you're always using a constant boost.

He just means the way you talk about the 440cc injectors being close to the stock 450cc injectors of the 4g63T motors, makes it sound like we (420a's) have the same ecu. But also bringing up the 4g63T Ecu has nothing to do with the questions that were asked, it kinda just confuses some peolple. His reply to what you said was saying that the 4g63T's ecu is irrelivant to what we are talking about, and just to prove it he's saying that even different years of 420a have different maps programmed for the ecu.
Anwyas no harm no foul.

This is your statement.

I stated that this information is wrong. The 2gnt ecu is not programmed for 450cc injectors like your posts says.

all right back again this thread will never die...... i am so tired of running 8 psi. i have a used sfmu sitting right here in my house. i can here it calling me at night. it says i can run more boost with it and some 440cc injectors. but i kinda want to save up for a emanage too. oh yeah and i need new suspension. (ebay coilovers and stock struts suck) need to buy a wideband too.

so what i am thinking is that i buy those blue 440cc srt4 injectors on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dodg...ryZ33554QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
then a aem uego wideband.
and then a electric fuel pressure gauge or a mech. one with a isolator.

total around 800 bills
should i do it? think those are good injectors for the price?

CAll Slowboy racing, and they will hook you up with a set of RC injectors for around the same price or cheaper. I bought 550cc from them for the same price. Just make sure you call and tell them its for the 420a motor, cause the ones on the website are for the 4g63

i have a question related.. I noticed you guys talking about resistor boxes, so i was wondering where you could get them, if he decided to get the 4g63 injectors?
