Ok. I have a set of Denso 550's. The stock insultors "looked" in pretty good shape. But they are plastic ( or really dry rotted rubber) and didnt fit the 550's without cracking. My question is: With the Denso 550's, will the Factory insultors fit, IF NEW? Because obviously they wont if used! If somebody can tell me if they are rubber (dry and old) or plastic, that could also help.
AND,
Where can i find them besided the dealership and online? The dealership is closed til monday!!!! I've called autozone and a few others and they are clueless.
thanks

They are supposed to be soft rubber but over time with the heat from the engine they turn plastic-like. As far as somewhere to get them the dealership and online is the only place i know of if autozone or advance doesn't have them. Good luck with ## search.

Thanks man.
That makes sense. I could see them fitting if they were rubber, nice and snug. I found a whole set from NAPA. 11.99 for all 3 seals needed. Thats cheaper than the online stores i found. Hope NAPA has them in stock tomorrow or else its to the dealership monday!
thanks again
