I'm missing this from the compressor inlet of my turbo. I called the dealer, I've tried CAPS, I've tried everything. No one knows what the part number is. WHERE CAN I GET A NEW ONE? Does anyone have a part number for this stupid thing? I can't find one on trader because no one knows what the piece of shit is called!

DON'T put that rubber piece in, i see you installed a b16g. i reinstalled that rubber piece and my 16g got hungry and ate it. i had to get a new compressor wheel since it killed it. do yourself a favor dont put it in and go get a hose clamp so the intake snorkel will clamp tight on the compressor inlet. mike from sbr agreed that you shouldnt put it back in. i learned the hard way!

Okay, so you clamped down the accordion hose to the compressor inlet and everything is running fine? I'm wondering, because I thought I might have an air leak there when I hit boost.

(As a side note, yes, I know that's not a "boost leak", but I'm thinking it might be letting in unmetered air.)

If you are in DESPERATE need of getting the car on the road and are worried about a leak, just put a little RTV where the surfaces mate up. I must stress that you should use as LITTLE RTV as possible.

In the long run I would look for a better solution, but that SHOULD work for now.

hey i found your rubber piece that you are looking for it is right next to your pepsi vanilla:laugh: jk. If you want you could just wrap some electrical tape around your turbo inlet, just a though.:talon:

My 16g got hungry and had it for dinner one night too! Ummm... I ran a 14b afterwards.

Sweet bleeding jesus NO. Ever see that crap wander when it gets warm? Lovely bit o' licorice that'd be for the turbine.

Find some silicone tube at the bearing shop, or just don't bother.
