"Important 1g BOV *Q*

I am currently making an adapter for the 1g BOV on 2g yada yada. I notice the little hole on the 1g bov for the blown off air. Do i need to make a hole in my adapter for this thing?? Or do i just cover it up with the adapter plate. Im so confused !!!--Tony

dont worry about that hole....just dont clog it up with the gastket maker (go around it like it shows in those pics.....that small hole is already recessed so it wont get blocked off between the valve and the adapter plate.
