How do i retard my ignnition timeing? I was wondering if i could from my cams? or is that just valve timing? Do i need a speacial tool? is ours Electronicly timed? Any help would be appriciated.

I was just reading and found that, so was wondering what it is and how to do it. THx for all the help!!!!!!!! oh and have u put that part on ur car? if so did u need the tac adapter?

No, I have not put that on my car. I'm also not sure if you would need a tach adapter for that. The only thing I wondered is why you would retard your timing. Really the only time you need to do that is when your running high compression, nitrous, or if you are running a lot of boost. Otherwise, you want to advance your timing as opposed to retarding it.

ya why do you want to retard it? unless your planning on running nitrous, but its still debatable whether its needed.
