Hi i was wondering if anybody has the ignition key lock cyclinder and door cyclinder that takes the same key for sale? The eclipse i bought doesnt have the door key but i have the ignition key that will crank it, i been using my keyless remote to get in.If anybody has the set that uses 1 key iam very interested in buying them if the price is right or if anybody knows a place where i can buy the set that would be fine. I hope iam posting in the right place. Thank's

You can remove the door lock cylinders and rekey them to fit the key you have for your ignition switch. Rekeying the cylinders is pretty simple and all you need is a file or sandpaper. There is a write up in the how to's on this site on how to go about it.

Once you remove the cover to the cylinder lock there are pins that stick out of it. When you put the key in these pins should be flush with the cylinder. The ones that are not flush you can remove and sand/grind down.

Yes, those are the tumblers. However, that's not re-keying a lock. That's just grinding down the tumblers to accept the wrong key which would likely allow plenty of other keys as well. Re-keying a lock would require a kit that includes a new key and tumblers that match the key that you swap in to the lock cylinder.
