Today I replaced my fuel filter (probably original equipment) and put on a new stock replacement ignition coil pack--and that's it--. When I took the car out for a test run to make sure my car wasn't going to blow up on me, I looked over at my boost gauge and it read 15 PSI, and it has **always** read a maximum of 9 up until now. When I first got the car in february, I did the BCS mod and as many of the free mods as I could and it didn't seem to make a difference. Why would it start boosting 6 psi higher? I did log the run, but I can't post the results until tomorrow since I left my palm cradle at work...

Yeah thats weird I have a 2Gen and I added that new mobile 10000 mile oil and like over a week of driving with it in my boost went up 3 psi it was very odd I supposse it loosened all the shit gunked up in my pos T-25. :talon:

Well let me see if I can piece this together, being the Sherlock that I am.

You changed the fuel filter, not it's boosting better. hmm. very mysterious....

Could it be that you are getting more fuel now, and better fuel flow?

More fuel=more boost is my suspicion.
