Hey guys, I am new here, and just made a recent addition to my family.
It is a really clean, 94 eagle talon.
Just some quick questions though,
Alright, for starters, it idles really really low and dyes occasionally.
Now this isn't a constant idle, it idles from 500 to 1k.
It bounces, almost as the computer is telling it "Nooo don't die!" and then it goes back up to 1k.
I was told this is an O2 sensor malfunctioning.
What do you guys think?
Thank you!

Oh yeah and if it helps, here's my baby.

Seams that you have whats well known as a bad ISC, OR for DSM Newbies Idle speed controller... This is mounted on the side of the throttle body just under the elbow on the back.
They are prone to fail, and is very common no biggie and easy to change.
The part with the light brown top is the ISC... You can get them used from quite a few DSM's
3000gt, Galant, ect.... Pretty much every thing 91 up to 1999 maybe more cars....

Wow, thank you so much!
I really appreciate how fast you answered my question.
I will update my post when I have found a replacement, to see if that did the trick :D

Thank you!

LOL well its not always that easy :thumb: Just happens to be one of the simplest to figure out giving your symptoms.... Remember these cars are Fairly old and have TONS of electronics for the time so heat/poor upkeep take there tole on these cars. I had to replace 1/3rd of my harness under the hood because of heat damage...
There good cars as long as you are a good mechanic you should enjoy yours...:thumb:

Is your car a Turbo?

Sorry for the double post, but no. Mine is not a turbo.
I got this car because I love eagle talons, and because Turbo takes a toll on engines more. I just want a good daily driver that I can enjoy, that's reasonably fun to drive.
Plus insurance is already killing me for having the Talon :D

Okay okay, triple post, my bad.
Buttttt. I adjusted the BISS and it idles perfectly fine now!
It idles at 800. Is this normal for a manual? I can adjust it more, but yeah.
Just wanted to say, thank you, now my car is almost close to perfect!
I appreciate it.
Thank you :D
