2G idle surges?

irecently installed my new intake and found out that my negative battery terminal connector is all corroded and wont tighten, it just sits on the battery terminal itself, and when i push in the clutch the rpms go to zero and 3 lights turn on and then it bounces back up to idle at 1000 rpms. i bought gold plated terminal connectors but dont know how to switch them with the stock connectors, the stock ones are like welded on to the wires or something, i dont wanna mess anything up

I am not sure what you are asking but the whole battery situation has nothing to do with the idle surge the idle surge is caused by leaking air around the intake manifold.

Just take some dykes & cut off the old terminals, strip the insulation on the cables & install them onto the new terminals... Its not that hard man.
