As soon as I start my car it immediatley revs to 4500 rpms and I cant seem to get it to drop. I've searched the forums for answers and checked the obvious areas that could cause the problem but I still can't get the revs to drop. I checked the biss first, and it's adjusted all the way in. I tried unplugging the isc and it makes no difference at all, it still sits at 4500. I sprayed carb cleaner around the intake mani and throttle body, but I did not notice any change. I checked the throttle cable and it seems to be loose enough to prevent it from revving on its own. One thing Im not sure about is the tps. It is upside down from it's normal position because my venom intake manifold is too large to allow me to retain it's normal position. Could the tps being upside down cause this? I also don't have EGR since the venom intake does not have a hole in it to accommodate it. Could these things be causing the problem or am I completely off base?
